Diving in Tonga

    Hey guys


    I am on Deeper blue & spear-board but I am glad to join your forum. ''Freedivingspearfishing''.com sounds like the right name!


    Anyways I live in The Kingdom of Tonga (south pacific), been living here since I was a kid, spearfishing the whole time. First with a polespear for 2-3 years and then I moved up to guns! Now I do both!


    I run a charter boat business on the main island Tonga tapu. I specialize in spearfishing but also offer game fishing, and whale watching for the tourist. Here is my site, www.tonga-charters.com I have a spearfishing video clip on there too!:thumbsup2:

    Welcome Ben, Tonga is one place I have never dove, been ti Raotonga in the Cook's a few times and really l loved the people and crystal blue water at the drop off.

    No I am not a native. I am originally from the states but grew up as a kid in Fiji and then my parents moved to Tonga when I was 12, so Tonga is my home away from home.


    Hey Kolt, yeah Matt had a good run-in with the doggies! Glad he enjoyed his trip. How are the Kingfish doing? A guy on my boat speared one off one of our wrecks this past winter. A bit too far north for a kingfish I think. Anyways it tasted great!
