Hello everyone, I bought a beuchat marlin 115cm gun about 2 months ago and I am not pleased with the range of accuracy it has out the box. It uses a single 32" 18mm band with a Tahitian wishbone and a 6.5mm rockwell shaft. I want to upgrade it by using two 16mm riffe godlizza bands with dyneema wishbones and a 7.1mm shark fin shaft. My problem is I don't know which shark fin tab shaft will fit the beuchat mechanism. Could someone please point me in the right direct as to which shaft will fit?

Any euro shaft with a round notch should fit. Are you looking for a store that sells them?

You must understand that the European or international material comes with standard equipment, personify is up to each one, you can put rubber rod 20 doubles and up to 8mm, the mechanism is fit for all the varilla.Cualquier like you better stick pins , Look for the shape of the socket before you buy.

I was trying to find out what would fit. I actually put this gun down because of the lack of power and range. My other Buechat 90cm canon has more range than the marlin lol. Where can I purchase a compatible shark fin 7mm shaft?

A Riffe Euro shaft should fit just fine, though they are a bit pricey. I've put them on my own pipe gun, as well as on friends' Beuchats.
I would also say consider doing a 6.75mm instead of a 7.1mm shaft. You'll get more recoil with the heavier 7.1mm shaft on such a light gun, but the jump from 6.5 to 6.75 doesn't make that much difference in recoil.

http://freedivingspearfishingg…tainless-steel-shaft.html I have limited lengths at this time, but I do have 150cm which is what your gun probably takes. What length shaft do you need?

Los únicos fusiles que el sistema cuadrado de encaje al mecanismo le afectan es al Cressi, los demas fusiles admiten estos tres tipos de culo de varilla o encaje,.

The only guns that fit the square system will affect the mechanism is to Cressi rifles others support these three types of rod or snap ass.

have you tried using a 7mm rob allen shaft and your 18mm band? That band should have plenty of punch, if you want range I would go with a bigger gun. My experience is from using 1 16mm band and a 7mm shaft on my 130 railgun.

I have not tried any other shafts as the only shafts that are sold here on island, are the Beuchat shafts. 98% of the spearguns on this island are Beuchats .

Dan, that is the perfect design shaft for my needs. I will check when I get home for the length of the original shaft. What about 16mm dyneema bands? Do you sell those ready made too? How do I contact you off forum to talk more?
