I am 6' 5" and 268 lbs, and swim in the caribbean tropics. I have been looking for the right wetsuit for some time now but don't have any experience with these size charts and who fits bigger or smaller. I don't want to buy one and it doesn't fit or is too big when I get it, so could you guys help me out picking the right size/type/brand wetsuit for my needs.
What brand and type wetsuit for my needs??

Look no further, Dan makes the best suit I have ever worn. Not a stitch out of place, he will help you with sizing.
Just send him a PM .Cheers, Don

x2...i love my Speardiver suit, it feels like it is not even there.
for reference, I am 6'4" and 210 right now, a little chubby for my build...the xxl suit fits me like it was made for my body.
and I am warm in it for any amount of time

I am 1" taller and 58lbs heavier than you who is wearing a xxl, so what size would fit me lol?

You need to make a diet! :laughing3:
Seriously, a 3 mm XXL should do the trick. I like the red camo very much. :thumbsup2:

Hey lol, Lebron James is about my height and weights 260lbs of solid muscle, so don't let the weight fool you. It's all about proportion lol.

i would say you need to ask Dan, as he is a lot more familiar with the sizes....if it helps for your measurements. I wear a 44L in men's dress suits, my shirt size is 16.5" around the neck and 35-36" on the sleeves. and I have a 36" waist and 34" inseam.
third leg is xl too:cool2::laughing3:
hahaha.
I am between 18-25% body fat right now which is really bad for me but about average. Ithink that i could lose about 15lbs of fat and add add a few pounds of muscle and the suit would still fit great.- the reason I say this is that we might actually be close to the same size with you having a lot more muscle and thus weighing more...hope the measurements help

Maybe look into this. Custom cut, just for you.
I have a friend who lived here in Belize for a while. He was about 6 foot, 400 lbs. A big....fat guy.
He got a suit made for him in Singapore. Perfect.
I've had suits off the rack fit real nice and others that didn't.
And the sizes aren't universal. I had a ScubaPro XL that fit really well so I ordered a Large from Mako. It was too big in my butt and waist. I got a Medium and it fits. And as far as thickness. I wear a 3 mm vest here in the warm season and a 3.5 full suit over top of that now.....the cold season. In between I have a 1.5mm full which combos with the vest.

You want a 3mm open cell inside lined outside wetsuit. The Speardiver 3mm 3XL will fit.

Thank you for your input. I was in Belize in October last year for my honeymoon, and went snorkeling....your wasters are beautiful and rich with large and diverse aquatic life. I didn't want to leave the water, which was only 10 ft deep lol.

Do you think that the 3XL would fit this frame? This is a pic of me in Jamacia not too long ago. Put on a few pounds since, but not too much.
