New WSB Gun

  • Joe,
Yes. In a previous life I shot firearms competively and know what works for me. Custom built guns provide a fine opportunity to fit the gun to the shooter and not the converse.

  • LA Diver,

My thanks. I know the fish don't care what the gun looks like, but I subscribe to the theory of, "If you are going to build a quality product, it is not that much more challenging to ensure a touch of class".

That is spot on:thumbsup2: Great looking gun too. I don't know how I missed this thread.

  • LBuster,
As per the previous post, the mass of this gun was of moderate concern, but all concerns have disappeared through pre-build and post-build testing. I should humbly add that in a previous life, I was a 100 kilo wrestler in college and in the AAU for USA teams. Maneuvering large objects has been a part of my life, for the greater part of my life.

  • I more meant the size of the gun. I have no experience with anything bigger than a 120cm euro style gun. So the idea of a big powerful gun is just awesome, in the biblical sense. I would want something that powerful to be plenty heavy.

    LBuster,
I see your point. I do not believe we live in the same state, but should we ever come f2f and be near the water, I think you should fire off a couple of shots. I think it would put a lasting smile on your face.

  • In each life there seems to be a common thread, the pursuit of perfection, which remains just out of reach.

:toast: to the Pursuit of living the moment :)

hmm.. may be a good slogan for the company :D

I don't know much about big guns, but if Bill made it then it has to be damn close to perfect. Congratz on a great looking gun XP. Looking forward to seeing pics of the first prey taken with it.
