out where i am there is a dealer for riffe and jbl......and thats about it.......everything else has to be ordered online...

    need some feedback......

I just ordered an Ulusub and Jon is very willing to make exactly what you want. I have been communicating with him for the past month and he has given me updates and we have talked over certain things along the build. You can of course buy something off the shelf, but that's not my style. Gun should be here in a week and just in time for my trip to Mexico:laughing:

  • Where are the pics?

  • I have an andre 120 euro. I love it! The bands that come stock need to be beefed up... A LOT. But once I beefed them up, ive been very impresssed with the performance. The gun is super quiet, and the design of the euro series makes tracking extremely easy. I wouldn't want to buy any of the gold series guns, but thats just my preference. The mech and everything else that comes with the gun is great. The reinforced muzzle on the euro is great.

The only thing I would change is maybe get a 144 if you're trying to go after pelagics and want the range and penetration.

Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.

  • I have an andre 160 gold. I think it has always performed great. It is probably a better gun than the old Riffe blue water gun I owned but the difference is very small. I like the deeper shaft track on the Andre. I have used it for two years on a sail boat with limited fresh water so very little cleaning and lots of rough treatment with no problem.

Is there something I don't know here? Is Mori going to be putting eyes on this as well? I've never met the guy, since I live over here on the other side.. but I have seen some of his cratsmanship and that definitely ups the pressure..

I'll put up some pics in a seperate thread as not to De-rail.

This is a thread about Andre Spearguns.

Regarding the Original Posters question. I've probably shot Andre Guns for more years than anyone.. he and I have been friends since I was whittling guns without power tools, and he was still a Teenager whose family owned a woodshop.. Infact I can proudly say that I lost the first Speargun Andre ever made, the first time he tried it.. when I got pitchpoled by a big tube on my Kayak the first and last time he ever came shorediving with me in Uluwatu.. An offering to the queen of the southern seas.

Andre makes good guns. I think I saw a shipment of his new budget guns going out to the USA this morning..

  • To the OP-

If you already have a Riffe and another gun both in the same size ctegory, then what one do you like better? I have only ever heard good things about the Riffe Euros, so why not go with a bigger Riffe? If you like the pipegun better, I know Rob Allen makes larger pipeguns and a few other companies do as well.
