Yes, Manny and Megen in that frame,
Yes, he inspired me when he was a Dolphin trainer at the Miami Seaquarium and during the production of La Grand Bleu, I'll add more to this later.

Your welcome mate, I had a broken nose twice, left over from bouncing. Jacque's alternating nostril breathing exercises got me through it, and I still do it. Long before freedive class's there was Yoga.

A 1970 Skin Diverpage about the World Spearfishing Championship in Vulcano on the Sicilian coast. Jacques had written the article and signed it 1988 when I saw him in LA for the US screening of Big Blue. He also gave me some Movie posters he signed that are framed in my dive den.
