    Are oars longer than paddles? They were short IIRC. I would've had to do elevated pushups for that. Thanks. Either way, I'm jealous of your small boat operations, Don. Yer welcome, but we're not even till I hitch a ride on your Zodiac now. I'll pay for gas, just so I don't have to row, ok? Maybe some Buffalo Grass, too... Nastrovje!!

    Looks like you have a car seat in your inflatable. I'm sure that makes for a nice ride. :)

    I just saw a guy on Craigslist San Diego who has many of these F470 for sale with no floors and repairs needed to them but going for only $150....might be worth it for a project or to use for parts.

    I was especially tempted, because the last time I was on my local charter I counted 30 patches on their zodiac and this was only going down the one side! they use the snot out of that thing too.

    Dan, what's the difference (besides color) between yours and these? I remember your thread about your RIB.

    Is that an opinel knife in your cupboard? They are great little pocket knifes. I have had mine since I was 7 years old.

    Dan's rib is longer and can take a larger motor, It is much more like a real boat.

    :thumbup: Good eyes mate, love those knives. I Tahiti we would grease the blade and use them for dive knives.The one I have has been through hell.Very sharp hi carbon blade.

    After her Military career as a Navy boat Thumper was retired and was used to support divers on sporty scuba
    adventures. My son and I had a two day road trip deep into the desert to pick her up from a friend. Our first night it was 105 degrees:@.
