I worked on Dillon's boat last weekend. Made a quick disconnect bracket for the Saddlemen Harley seat. Made a anchor holddown and hull protector from a old snowboard clicker boot mount. Tried the gun in the rack, need to complete the port side rack bracket.

Thumper is coming to the end of the build process. Last weekend I zinkchromated the bimini top bits. Drilled and tapped the fittings and tubes and cut and mounted the windshield. Just a few things to do on the self righter tank and lines. Next pix will be outside.

The top is a high pressure inflatable boat floor and can be rolled and stored when not needed. The Black bladder on top is the self righter that is only inflated if the boat goes upside down. the righter has its on tank and valve. The boat floor can also be use for any blonds that want to sun bathe.

Cut holes in the self righter tube and installed a fill valve and over pressure valve . No bubbles an troubles.

scored a navy life raft valve that I will install in a 13 cubic foot pony bottle that will be repainted black.

I'm going to paint the underside of my top black with inflatable boat paint and leave the top white.

The pony bottle will be mounted 180 from what the image shows.The righter valve handle will be mounted near the trim tab and have a water proof mini light should I need to find it in the dark.

A couple more. Preped the top with solvent and a 3 m pad. applied 2 coats of West Marine Black inflatable top coat. Left the top white.

Unfortunately I tore a muscle in my neck 2 weeks ago, worst nerve pain in my skull I've ever had. Ive been on strong meds but it still flecken hurts.

Today is hump day on the pain, starting to get better, may take a few weeks before I can cock my gun. The boat is done.

Dillon and I christen Thumper in New Port Beach yesterday with Red Brest whisky and a toast . She runs fast and stable .
