I believe that it is used a lot for traditional archery bows because of its resilience and strength.

Aprovecho tu comentario para hacerte una question: He visto varias marcas que usan madera tropical dura como el caso del Ipe o Ironwood, claro parcialmente combinada con Teca o Caoba, ahora el problema de la madera dura es para trabajarla o por peso que aporta?

el problema es con el peso, son muy densa y no flotan
