G-day and Hello

  • Hey guys, my name's Dave and I've been spearing for about 5 years. I'm from Sydney, Australia but I've been in Utah for the last two years. I'm currently going to college and have another year and a half to go. I didn't realize there was much spearing to do in Utah until I found a local dive shop and got in contact with a few guys. I'm gonna have to get used to the poor vis but I'm excited to get into some spearing in the States. I'm looking forward to travelling around a bit too before I leave. A few places I got in mind are California, Florida and Hawaii. I'll start posting in the Freshwater section if anything good pops up.

  • Thanks for the warm welcome fellas. I'm about 6 hours away from Lake Powell, but my Fiance's parents live a lot closer. I'll be looking forward to doing a trip or two to Lake Powell and Lake Mead before it gets too cold.

I only dove Powell twice, but love the fishing there. It reminds my of Ayers Rock , but with a lake aside it.
All the best mate. Would love to see some trout fishing as well if your near a lake.

    Cheers, Don
