PV was clear but no fish

    Dove this evening in clear water but no fish. I did see a octopus and tried to grab it but it's tentacle fell off and it escaped. I then had the garibaldi eating the tentacle off my spear tip. Also saw some nice size batrays. I was hoping to make ceviche for tomorrow but it will have to wait. Have a great 4 th of July. :)

    I got one in front Hags, missing 3 tentacles, but it was a few days before the 3rd. I found a Greek recipe on you tube where you boil it with white wine and lemon juice for 40 mins then grill it for 10, it had a strong lemon taste but was good. It was the second one I saw that day and the first got into a hole and I didnt want to fight it out only to have it attack my face. I did bite the brain for the first time, took me 3 times to get it right and it was about a 3lbs puss.

    'Just got back from PV myself today... Murky with no fish :/ 5-6ft viz.

    I did see a couple of resident sharkies though.
