I am from Norway, but live in Belize for the moment. I am a fly fishing guide on one of the cayes on the second biggest barrier reef in the world, and want to learn more about spearfishing. 19 years old and love being in the water!

Fly fishing is big in Belize. Tourists come here to get a triple crown. Bonefish, tarpon and the Holy Grail of fly fishing, permit
It seems to me, as with any type of fishing....:D....the "art" is finding the damn fish. :laughing: You would catch on fast George. They'd probably deport you after a couple days. :laughing:
I know where there are permit. They're always there. They're protected and are only catch and release....to be eaten by sharks. (just kidding). I have had fly guides give me shit about spearing in "their" spot. Whatever....I don't shoot permit.
