great footage.. HH are so cool when swimming. I have had a few encounters w/ them in the water, some at arm's length. They always seem to be very chill, and had never seen one angry.
This labor day, we had one go ape shit at double breasted. That thing was sizable and came screaming across the knee-deep flat w/ half his body out of the water. we jumped back in the boat and he went crazy along side the boat for a few minutes. Amazing how fast they move when there is malice in there hearts.

Guava - are you guys w/ guava trees eating the fruit or making jellies and juices from them? Are they relatively maintainence free? What kind of yield do you get from them? Love me some guave preserves and juice.
Planted a hayden mango and avacodo tree this spring, looking forward to next year, buty yield will be low for a while.
I have an amazing leechee tree, didn't fruit this year though.

Thanks all. Lunker, they are permit, not pompano. They were taken free shafting w/ Hawaiian slings. The big one gave my brother (who is not a small guy) an ass whipping.

One of the flats at Double Breasted and a hammer head that came and checked us out. Hopefully throw up a video tomorrow.

After being with out a Bahamas capable vessel for most of the summer, the new boat was finally completed in late July. Took my wife and kids over for a quick family trip right off the bat, but had to wait until last weekend for a hard core spearfishing trip. Cranked it over to Walkers on Friday, cleared customs, checked in the rooms and headed out. Skies were clear, but it was raining fish before noon. Had 2 great days of diving capped w. rum drinks at Double Breasted and some great local food. Headed home on Sunday and picked up a few more fish. Great time and a good way to break in the new boat.

I'm working on rashguards. They will be available in the same patterns as the wetsuits.
hoods?
Hopefully they will have some long ass sleeves for those of us with monkey arms lol.
I've always thought that any sort of camo pattern w/ a solid high viz yellow/green/orange panel for the back would be ideal for freediving. It would make it easier to account for your divers, that's for sure. We already use pink electrical tape on our snorkels for the same purpose

Just like Rolo mentioned, I get most of mine around holes/caves.
Me 3. The last nice dog that I shot outside of a hole was a $40 shot as it proceeded directly to a labrynth system, never to be seen again.
Nice snappers to those that posted pics

I'm looking for a few types of fish most of the time. It's the hunt, not the killing that I like.... I guess.
My boys are a bit into the "if it swims, it dies" mode right now. It's fine with me. Jake's more selective though. He's a bit disappointed if he doesn't get what he considers quality fish.Right there with you. Quality > volume. One quality fish will make my day.

Great times Ben. Summers off during med school were awesome, and you're last ones ever!!
yup.

Thanks Nat,
Flew in and rented.Cool. Don't know if you know Sean F. on the Grace, but he spends a month or so every summer down there. I hope to run the boat down there next year and fly my wife and kids in, we'll see. I was looking at the July 4 holiday time, but the larger cottages are booked.

Sweet hog!
I hope to get down that way next summer. Did you fly in and rent the whaler or run down from stuart?
