Great fish Ron! That thing's a toad.

You're the man Ron!

Awesome Ben! I've been so tied up in school and sports this year that I've only had time to hunt seabass twice! It's killing me to have to sit here and see reports like this.
-
sshhh, I'm undercover over here:nono::laughing3:
I've heard stories about what you've been doing to all those poor seabass :nono:

Zack, You likely built this gun with a specific type of fish in mind. As a diver of the LeftCoast, what do you envision in your gun sights?
Definitely clearwater WSB and paddy fish. Hopefully some wahoo this summer as well.

Are you planning on tucking the sliptip cord into the bands? I've noticed that band elevators/separators make doing so rather difficult, resulting in the tip coming off when it's least convenient.
Looks very nice. Looks like you filled the trigger pocket with epoxy before cutting it out again? Was that an intentional part of the construction to make cutting the track and pocket easy on the same fence setting?
I just thought that the black around the trigger mech made it pop a little. I am planning on tucking the chord in. I didn't notice any problems with it when I used it at Cat over the weekend.

Great to hear somebody's killing fish. My boat's in the shop and they just found two cracks in the engine block :(.

Come to the OC Spearos mtg tonight. We are going to work on breathing and other techniquesCarla, I've been doing this ever since you told me to, and it seems like it also keeps my bottom times better throughout the day, and it takes me longer to get tired.

Great video! Makes me want to go back to Punta Mita.

Thanks, It will be ready for some fresh ear bones this early spring.;) The gun is really lacking in the mojo department.
Cheers, Don
I could go for some ear bones myself.

Very cool Don! This is one tricked out gun!

Hey Don, I'm building some pretty sweet guns right now, (2 enclosed track 66 inch euros). I'll post when I'm finished.

It would be a good Idea to change the Mech out on some of those 10 year old tuna guns , Ill never forget my buddy Plossel laying on my Deck after his Riffe went off while he was loading the last band ,,

I just rinse them in fresh water and store them in a dark, cool place. Then I start to build some more
