recently i saw a pic here in this forum of someone caught a white margate. i want to believe it is the same fish that i know as white grunt.they are very rare in trinbago waters. are they anywhere seen more often ?
i caught this one in 2008, 14 pound. taste very good.

yeah we see them here a bit . they are ok , but remember to take the skin off if you are frying. it's tough. that one is nice.

That's a huge white margate if that's what it is. World record is 15lb 12oz. You probably had a spearfishing world record there.
