Don -
You know I think that's the best ending to a spearfisherman's story, a son clearly taking his father's path.
-
You can have massages with "happy ending"...

Interesting, what are the benefits?
I'm thinking maybe increased flow rate somehow due to Molecule size?
How about a Heliumbalete or Argonbalete?
-
But isn't air already about 78% Nitrogen? As for helium, we use it at work to check things for leaks, because such small molecules will easily find their way out of just about anything.
-
Don's Top Ten Reasons why I will try Nitrogen .
#10.Lighter then air.
#9. less pressure increase on sun heated barrel.
#8.less mosture in the barrel chamber.
#7.less oxidizing on rubber parts.
#6.In Molecular size.... bigger is better.
#5.Have a large tank of it already.
#4.Feel the name Airbalete is a cheep rip off of the french crossbow.... Arbalete.
#3. Paint ball shops have cool chicks with tat's.
#2. Hey baby....it's Nitro Powered.
And the number one reason I going to try Nitrogen in my gun is....'' Getting tired of saying....Yes baby it's just me pumping my gun''. :@:@:D:D
-
hahaha, nice Don..looking forward to the updates
-
Very interesting Don. Can't wait to see some blood on it.
-
I noticed that too about the name. Arbalete was also the name of an old speargun.
That's interesting about the nitrogen. I guess you can fill it with anything you want when you have the adapter. I'm looking forward to the shooting report.

Arbalete is the generic name for Bands speargun in ffrench, where those speargun were invented. Airbalete is a nema that suggests that this pneumatic speargun is as close as possible to a band gun.
Looking forward to see "your gun" Don! :rolleyes1:
-
Arbalete was a brand name of a French gun,I had one in the late1970 S , 2 or 3 bands,A very productive gun for kelp bass at Whites Point in southern Ca.

Yeah I have to keep them up side down in my desk if you know what I mean. Family first.
I guess it comes down to what you have.... not what I had.
