Sunday Davie (seaweed) brought over ribs and a home made BBQ sauce. It was very good and I asked him for the recipe, here it is:
Seasoning:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup paprika
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp chili powder
3/4 tbsp garlic powder
3/4 tbsp onion powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
add 1/2 to 1 tbsp curry powder
Sauce;
Fry about 2 tbsp minced garlic then add:
1/2 cup of the seasoning
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
add cayenne to desired spicyness
simmer for 15 minutes.
Peel the membrane off the back of the pork spareribs. Boil ribs in water, some vinegar, and seasoning for about 45 minutes until meat starts to peel off bone. Then rub seasoning on them and grill.
