Sounds great man. We are pumped for the results

Also have the skull of the biggest ribbonfish ive ever seen macerating right now, damn fish was 3 1/2 feet long with part of its tail bitten off, the head alone is 6 inches or so from tip of nose to back of gillplates and the front fangs are 3/4 inch long
-
Ok I finished the big ribbonfish (Its a damn dinosaur!) and the cuda just came out of the acetone so ill be whitening it and should have it assembled by the end of the weekend or sometime early next week at the latest. Look at this ribbon, almost 6 3/4 inches!

Love the ribbonfish skull! I've got a nice cuda head in the freezer I've been holding on to. Might have to try this soon.
-
Speaking of cuda heads just finished mine
-
Dude!! Please set a price and let me commission a piece. I am dying for a skull
-

-

Cheers, Don

Ok the price for fish skulls is 10 dollars an inch half up front and half on delivery, turnaround time is anywhere from 1.5 to 3 months depending on how long i have to degrease em.
-
Interesting way of pricing it. Is this a standard method for taxidermy or something? I may send you a big stinky cuda head
-
Yeah its pretty standard for fish taxidermy, after all bigger head = bigger headaches lol
-
Is there an ideal way to send you a fish head? Should it be frozen? Vaccume sealed? What prep work can be done?
-
wrap in newspaper 2 inches thick then vacuum seal and freeze, ship inside one of those cheap foam coolers WELL SEALED and inside a box, preferably ship out on a monday also so it will definitely get to me as fast as possible, the postal service doesnt like leaky stinky packages lol
-
I am stoked!!! I am now on the hunt for a trophy worthy skull.
I was originally all about a cuda but a big hog might be better
