It was, It was my feeble attempt at sarcasm. The image is straight from the camera complete with line ups.
I use to swim out on a paddle board, then a small inflatable. Pretty soon someone will put mooring cans for
over night tie up complete with rental white sea bass gear.;)

    Cheers Don

  • they went out of DanaPoint this am and just cruised along the coast

  • Ha Ha! This thread reminds me of one of the first times Cam dove off my boat. We were down in Miami shooting triggers, hogs and yellow jacks and Cam yells: "Get me another gun!". I was closest to him and came swimming with my loaded Rabitech ready for a second shot. He took it out of my hands. Unloaded it and reloaded it right after and swam off to shoot the fish again. All this in the presence of a 10 foot hammerhead. In any event, he got the fish (monster) to the boat and ended up being a world record Kingfish at the time. I then learned that if a second shot is placed for record purposes, gun must be handed to the diver unloaded. He really earned that fish and it actually lost several pounds as he was not able to weigh it and certify it until next morning. Went about 60+ if I recall.

  • Cam is THE BEASTMASTER, he takes what he wants from the ocean!!!!

One of the nicest most humble people I know:thumbsup2:

I consider myself a fairly decent diver, able to hunt fish to about 75 fsw, insane by most standards, untill I get on a boat with Cam, and hes bottoming out a 120 ft floatline, and stonning 14lbs mangroves with a polespear...Im content to caddy, ice fish down, and cheerlead, he NEVER dissapoints....

My Bachelor party consisted of a spearing trip for a few buddies, The boat captain almost shit a brick when Cam pops up from the water 10 minutes after getting i,n with 4 muttons on his belt, the smallest one was about 18lbs. 10 minutes after that, we made him trade his gun for a camera, or the local fish might ALL die of fear...

For Cam the word EPIC is a way of life.

He even held off on shooting a 100+lbs goliath, that he certainly could have rolled over, because our cooler was full, we had no more ice, and we wouldn,t be able to care for it properly....

A TRUE SPORTSMAN and ambassador to the Sport:cool2:

We are fortunate to have him

    Thanks for the post

  • I was hoping to go on this trip with the team and got bumped since the 'big boys" filled the boat. Limited room and I was outclassed ! Cam just posted a pic of Mark Healey with a 44lb WSB-- These guys are awesome!

The Skipper must be Crazy:crazy:. or been down too deep.:D
You need to start hanging out with a better class of boat captains.:D
You would be the last person I would leave on the dock, I'm calling Julie right now.

    Cheers Don
