I hate shark week.I know sharks are good for a lot of things,cleaning the ocean up,ba, ba, ba.
I just don't like them.
and every year there on TV for a week.Make it a day already,not a week.:D

Some of the claims of that Shark week are ludicrous to say the least. Discovery is full of sensationalism and misguided assumptions. I don´t know if they are pro environment or not. I don´t see the point of disturbing animals just to make a point.

I agree, most of the shows are all hype, but certain ones have some good video. I wish Nat. geo would do it instead

Always remember documentary's, news and weather is still entertainment of the masses. The story the camera man, producer, writer and editor tell is painted with their brush. A skilled cameraman and sound guy can even make Mother Teresa look shady and ill willed, while making a sleazy politician look like a warm and caring angel.

I don't understand why they think sharks are the only animal that its OK to feed. you'll never see any other nature show where they feed wild animals so why should it be OK to feed sharks?

That's a good point. It is such a "no-no" to feed wild animals but when it comes to sharks and a camera it is different.
