Certainly one of my all time favorite songs. This is my favorite version by far. I believe it is played during the credits display at the end of Finding Forester, which is also a great movie. When I hear this song, it reminds me of when I was young and watched it performed in The Wizard of Oz.

Rolo, I like this for my daughter (5yrs old). This is the advantage of having a girl, you can be mushy
Don't be shy to post something like grunge on this thread after this soft beginning.
-
I love that song. Both are favorites to play on my ukulele

This is good. How to you post those YouTube videos?
-
Copy the link to the video from the address bar and paste it in the post.

It's hard to give it to any one Cuban group, but Los Van Van have been rocking it for 44 years, still today with the original founder Juan Formell at the helm. They have to be the best, and my favorite group. You gotta' understand the language and culture to really get it, but maybe it's not necessary to simply enjoy it.

Satch is the man. I love the jazz masters vai, satch, satrioni, pass, metheney.
I spelled all of their names wrong!!I love all music, if it is made from the heart. I tend not to dig pop music
In my blood are jazz, punk and ska but I am a rocker who loves me some world music, ESP South American, and needs classical mixed inTop bands include
John Coltrane
Grateful dead
Phish
Bad religion
Leftover salmon
The slackers
The pietasters
Toots and the maytals
Bob ( Dylan and marley) -

Thanks bro, Im glad i did too. A lot of people are fed up with the morons and the political bs from another site.... Blows my mind the amount of stupidity and arrogance that flows from the members /owners there. I know im not the only one looking for change.

Bob ( Dylan and marley)I saw toots in hollywood, free concert on the beach. It was amazing, first we all got to dance on stage, then we went and swam in the ocean.
My tastes are all over the map. But 1stWave Ska/Rock Steady/Reggae, Real Country (old), Classic Rock, Metal, and indie are the ones that stick out and persist. That doesnt narrow it down much but I can go in too many different directions all day.
A few things I listened to this morning.
Lynn Taitt & The Jets - Hold Me Tight - Johnny Nash Vocal - YouTube
Johnny Cash - Big River - YouTube
The Whitest Boy Alive - Gravity [high quality] - YouTube

Mark you bastard!!! That sounds like my first day in heaven!!
I should have known you were a ska guy too! We have much to discuss
I forgot to mention a passionate love of bluegrass. This has led me to many many awesome other genres like Cajun high country fiddle music, zydeco and slamgrass/jam grass. Still bill Monroe and David Grisman are the best
-
ZACH DEPUTY "She Says" - live @ the MoBoogie Loft - YouTube
Zach Deputy is also damn good.
My current favotires are bands Passafire, Part One Tribe, The Movment, The B foundation, John Brows Body, The Revivalists, Atmosphere,

I wanna be bigger than Jesus, bigger than wrestling, bigger than the Beatles, bigger than breast implants.
I'm gonna be the biggest thing to hit these little kids, bigger than gun, bigger than cigarettes.....That dude is a mental case but he puts together some amazing turns of phrase.
