If you missed spearin today, then you missed an epic condition Miami area spearin day
I paddled out watchin the bottom till I got to 20fsw, dropped anchor on a small hole of sand and jumped in to have 35f viz and fish under me lookin up
I saw and shot 2 muttons, 18 and 20in, saw a small 3f bull after I shot the first mutton, probably 2 doz small hogs and some nice female hogs, a school of blue runners, 8-10 squid AND 4 tarpon 3-4f long.
Hope others got out to enjoy today also.

Solo today and working my way a little further out scouting new territory working the GPS and maps.
Got a late start and had to come in early so I only got 1 hour of face in the water time and saw no shootable fish. But the weather conditions and viz were great and I did see; 1 sea turtle asleep on the bottom and about a doz small and female hogs.
Wish I had had longer in the water.
I recieved pictures of nice fish taken today by some of my brothers

Today was a beautiful condition yak freedive spearin day
We got a late start today and just went close and shallow looking for something close to shore. Found a small hardbottom and saw a turtle, 3-4 small grouper, 2doz small and female hogs, 4 squid and snappers. Saw no jellies, no macs but did get one jack.

Finally got a chance to get out today. The sea was rough and there was no viz so I couldn't find any fish, but it felt great being out there and getting wet. :thumbsup2:
Saw 2 turtles, some tropicals and a 2ft nurse shark before I gave up and went ashore.
Just saw the forecast for this weekend and hope conditions r good for all u buggers.

Finally got a chance to get out again today, and what a beautiful day in the water.
I saw; 3-4 sea turtles and one that swam right up to me, 3 sharks (non that swam up to me ), bout 2 doz small or female hogs, bout a doz macks, an eagle ray that made two circles around me AND a dolphin swim past me while I was in the water. I see dolphin on most days from the yak, but it has been a long time since I saw one in the water with me. :thumbsup2:
I lucked out and got 3 nice fish today.
