Sorry didn't know that, thought you were close to Danny boy.:D

It's only like 30-35 to his house. Same general vicinity
Display MoreThumper has a Mil Spec roll up floor, but not the Hard Deck.
This boat is Avon CRRC (UK) and rare in the states, very few of these boats survived being cut up/destroyed.
The Britts and NATO kept a tight lid on them.
The Zodiac FC- 470 is similar, but the floor through ZodiacMilPro is 4k :@.
Many of the surplus hard decks were scraped, when the gov sells FC-470 boats by the container full, some have been ''decommissioned'' with 3 foot cuts though the hull and all presure valves removed or lost, and no floors at all.
The hard floors were only used for some missions. I know of one in Florida that may be for sale in a month.

I am sure have seen this and contacted the guy to see if he has anything better, but just in case
RARE 1999 ZODIAC FC470 AZTEC
Good find. Dammit, even with holes in it, it looks sexy! I can't explain it. The whole idea of a zodiac kicks ass. It holds a special place in our hearts, I guess.

Thanks, yeah I know that guy, but he didn't have any floors when I spoke to him a month ago.

I did some diving off a friend's zodiac when I lived in Kuantan, Malaysia. Badass boat. We went out to some of the islands offshore north of Tioman...open sea out there. ...well, the South China Sea anyway. Very stable.
I had a spooky dream last night about diving, so I'm cutting off any more funding on Thumper until a have moneys for Terry Maas's Mark FRV vest. Today I decided I have had enough close calls and I owe it to my family.
Terry has the FRV mark 2 at $1100.0 bucks for the first 50, I'm on the list.
I'll keep going on the labor as best I can for now.
Cheers, Don
How does one go about getting one of these Don? I am very interested in doing so. This little guy needs me to come home for the next 20 years or so....until I get him through medical school haha His face pops in my head a LOT when I'm in the water.
Hank, I'll be back with Terry's E-mail.....
Here it is Hank; freedivevest@gmail.com
What a cool kid.

Many thanks my friend.
Many thanks my friend.
Thanks, I will get there someday to dive those warm bathtub waters.:thumbsup2:

Ordered the 5/8 Aquatek plywood Fri, today cut the 6061 aluminum L extrusion to support the aft edge of the deck. The white cardboard is the console footprint.
Cheers, Don

good priorities , a sports biker once told me the the first thing to buy when getting into motorcycles is the safety gear not the bike . :thumbsup2:
I didn't want to spend 100 bucks on a Jabco search light joystick and switch, so I'm doing my own, after some scrounging. I soldered the female connectors to the switch posts for a connection that wont come unplugged, then heat shrink.Next project is to make space in the garage for the boat this weekend.
Cheers, Don
nice neat wiring
