I dont know but Publix here in Georgia is extremely expensive. I went to Whole Food Market Store and found fresh and awesome quality of fish meat there.http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/ Plus i found a nice food market that opens saturdays morning and they bring fish caught the day before. I bought a nice Mutton the other day and did some ceviche with it. :thumbsup2:. I really dont like to buy old froze stuff. Taste is way different. I wish i could catch my own, but for now i have to drool and hate you all because you guys can go hunting and i cant. But the day will come when i can go weekly like it used to be:D

In Jalisco´s coast, they sell sierras at the beach smoked with a red salsa. Those are served in a stick, and people knows them as paletas de pescado...
-
Sierra tatemada. Cook the sierras in the grill with some Mezquite coal and smoke, some lime juice and salsa..
-
mangle wood is better for the tatemado

I'm hungry!

Since you guys were talking about publix and stuff.. There's a huge indoor/outdoor in Ft. Lauderdale called the swap shop. There's a fruit and vegetable market there too. The style you'd see in Cuba or PR I imagine. The prices are so cheap I don't even consider I spend money on fruits and vegetables. The quality is better than in publix. Here are a few pics.

Hey Monster
Now i want to re-try for the 5th time the damn sierra. I wonder how it taste now:) -

Dan, you would love to be in a Mexican Mercado. Say in Oaxaca for instance. They sell anything ranging anywhere from iguanas and monkeys to pulque.

That there I heard before. I think Emil said it and he's a culinary giant compared to someone like me. The mind behind such exotic mind altering preparations such as mole crab poppers
-
What's pulque?
-
Sounds like some type of Mex beer...If it's alcoholic, I'll drink it!:D
-
I could also give it a try....
