Marco and and all at the same time, mostly though... just slowed it down and watched it again, the entire shaft and about 9 ft of line went through that beast, you can see it being towed as she sounds and thats why i lost it. Ironey of having a 5 band tuna gun and losing the tuna of a life time because the gun was 2 powerful at close range

I saw it again and apparently the shaft goes all the way through. What could have happened?

When everything came up, was all there? I mean, Was the slip tip there? The shaft? Everything?

Everything came back in perfect condition, as you can see it went through completely to the point where over 10 foot of line was through as well as the shaft, Jon from Ulusub believes that the shaft looped over the shooting line creating a loop of only line pulling against the fish, this sawed through the meat allowing the fish to get off. Even if that didn't happen I believe that the line alone through the body, at the speed that fish was sounding at, could have ripped the line through, if only the shaft was in the fish and not through the fish i would be still trying to figure out what to do with all that fish :@;)
