We finally got out. Calm and nice in the morning then the north wind picked up. Outgoing tide with green water in the cuts. Saw a 30 lb or so black and a nice cubera....but it wasn't my day. Only shot I took was on this nice hog. Then had to get home and work. Took us an hour and a half beating through the NW chop for 14 miles home.
Somebody kill some fish….dammit.

Last Saturday with my dive buddy Ced. Was not a good day for the Cudas.

I got a nice barracuda, but I know it's not appreciated in the USA.
Here's a pic.
Marco,
You are right, most in my area don't eat Cuda. BUT, this is what happens to them at my house.
I eat them with black beans and a nice Chianti.

Nice going JC, love the picture with a stringer full of fish as you line up on the snapper!

Nice stringer. What gun are you using? The Mackerel are one of my favorite targets also.

Thanks!! Its a 120cm omer cayman et. Got it while in europe last summer for a steal. Wanted to dive and not lug guns, so it served its purpose.
I have mixed feelings about it. The trigger pull is HEAVY and longgggg. When i do time it correctly its accurate but its not something i will get used to. I LOVE the barrel desing and like the muzzle, i do wish the bands were a bit more inline.
I think with a shaft change, and aftermarket trigger it had potential. Has GREAT range but it doesnt mean anything if the shoots are all over the place.
Ive been playing around with it since I wana use it till the factory setup is trashed, then make up my mind. -
I thought it was an Omer.
Going to get another 100cm gun. Between Omer and Picasso. Sure miss the MB and T20 style guns

That woukd solve my main gripe with the gun, triger pull and line release. Do you have left hand handles. Have you heard of anyone making a hybrid out of one?
Want to do it with mine, still use the current handle but new trigger and 7.1 shaft. Do you know if a 7.5 will fit? I heard it does but need to see for myself.
Im thinking along the lines of what gill did with his later euro hybrids. I think a small amount of extra mass would really help it shine and get the most out of the et. The recoil gets a bit much with when the bands are too tight. Gona give it a whirl and see how it goes. Will tell you more when I see you.
Set one aside for my visit at the end of this week! Cant wait to get my paws on the teak eurogun!!
