Wahoo II (Video)

    OK back from me boat work. Dam that vid is fun to watch! You guys know how to stalk, get close enough for well placed head/spine shots and land nice fish. Hey the landlords need their share on the blue water spot.:D You guys did a great job of hanging in there with the grey dogs and boating even the half fish. That big hammer was cool.:thumbsup2: What a meat hunt.:toast::toast:

    The ONLY one that i landed intact was the spine shot. The rest were attacked in quick order.
    Full moon that night. I got up and went to the stern and saw sharks swimming around the boat.


    Wild place. No matter what you are on land, this place lets you know that you are not in charge here.

    They were welcoming you and thinking of all the snacks come light, ;)
    Even if you were not fully in charge, you guys kept your cool , and let them know your another predator and not the lamb. You guys did great, always trying face off or watch your 6. I'd dive with mates like that any day,

    Your buddy is the real deal, only going for head shots in that environment, and breaking the fish as hard as he could whenever he shot, better the fish tear off and live again than to feed the sharks for no reason... RESPECT!

    That was kind of like spearing cobia behind a shrimp boat, only difference was, 60 lb wahoo instead of cobia, and all of the sharks were big, not 4 ft blacktip.


    Ced is the real deal. Best diver i have ever dove with.


    That 1/2 wahoo incident was a lot different in the water than watching it on video. Me and Ced jumped in the boat pretty quick. I can move quick for a 54 year old man when 2 Duskys are right under my fins. Still recovered some of the fish.

    This trip was on my "bucket list". Ive done some crazy stuff, but this trip was right up there with anything i had previously done. We planned this trip for a long time. Ced researched the best time to go, and thats when we went.


    I guess you can say that everything just lined up. We are already planning another trip next year.


    Once just wasnt enough.
