I don't have a wetsuit with a loading pad, nor do I have a gun, but from my undersanding ( I may be wrong, I'm here to find out) the pad is to provide friction against the butt to load the gun or is it for padding or both. :confused1:
If it is just for friction why not make it thinner but longer so it won't feel like an obstruction over your chest; while catering to the preference of a larger group of people.:idea2:

It also depends on the gun being loaded. It takes lots of stretch to get the butt of a 72" gun to position 2. Loading guns with lots of bands repeatedly isn't fun without good padding.
Its too hard to tell from that picture. Loading on the chest bone isnt fun. So 3-4 or 2-3 if 2 isnt on the bone. Most wetsuits have the loading pad way too high, imo. You always use the bottom half.
My shortest working gun is 50'' I can load it on my hip. The others I load with the butt just under the sternum, my Omer suit has in a perfect spot for me.

2-5. In a 3 mm (or less) wetsuit, you don't even notice if the neoprene is more or less flexible. It really matters if you are wearing a 5 mm or thicker. In that case, most of the times you don't even need a loading pad.

Seriously, I load on my belly button and just above my belly button. Alot of times I put the gun butt on my weightbelt to load. How about a long skinny loading pad from #1 to the top of the pubic region?
Different strokes for diffeent folks. I've never been a hip or belt loader, so chest feels natural to me.

I think, fuzz is right. Certainly, as above you rest a gun against a breast, as it is easier to charge it. I choose from 1 to 3. Too big surface of an overlay for charge holds down movements.
Interesting to have a woman's perspective on this. "Against a breast" however is not correct in English. I suspect that would be very painful.
