Hello? This thing on?

    Hey folks, some of you might recognize my SN from other places. My name is Carlos, and im from Miami. I have been spearfishing for about 6 years now, although i have been away from the water for close to 2 years now. School, work travel, getting married, next thing you know, i haven't held my breath way too long. Anyway, im back, and planning our first dive trip next weekend. After getting back in the rhythm of things, catching up with the new things, reading, etc. i noticed that on the forums i knew about, the Miamians dissapeared.


    I was looking up the "Marea" fins i bought from Dan (Pargo) a while back and a couple of google searches later, i found this site. Im glad to find that at last he is in a forum he probably wont get kicked from, and he is accompanied by the rest of the south florida crew, along with spearos from all over. Awesome! Im glad to have found a place with good local reports, an r rated bikini thread, and please tell me you do more spearing than posting on a religion / politics section.


    Looking forward to posting my own reports and passing on the little info i know for the better of our sport.

    welcome...best forum here bro...just pure spearfishing and humble people...thats it...no politics....no war...no religion just pure spearfishing...enjoy...:).here we are like family....if dan gets banned or not in other forum i can assure you it wasnt because of him...i think in the other forums they r a bunch of assholes period..i spent like a couple of days at spearboard and i really dont give a fuck about givin names...wot a piece of shit of forum...i was like dude seriously wtf!!....again enjoy bro...bless

    I like the fact that I can say anything here if I really want to. But in reality I find that running the forum I feel more restricted than I was on SB. But I consider it all worth it because it's for the greater good. Along the way I reap some benefits, but it's not easy. I really would like to relax and enjoy the forum, maybe I could do that if I had some help. fuzz, do you want to help and moderate? If the California section grows I want someone local to take care of it. Telling you ahead of time moderators can't ban administrators :)

    Seriously though, you don't even need mods on here. Not a lot going on as far as indiscretions. :confused1:
    Or are you just planning for future?

    Planning for the future. And the forum takes a lot of my time and I'd like to feel that there's someone else who's a responsible person taking care of the place if I'm not paying %100 attention. Especially if/when the California section gets moving, as it appears to be doing. I want to leave California issues to those who are better familiar with them than me.
