you got angels on your shoulder Steve....very glad you are unharmed and that the boater was not a typical POS who just bailed and left you there.

I rode my bike by the beach this morning. The water looks very inviting, just the kind of thing to inspire me to dive. But alas I have some things to do.
-
yeah you have things to do, GO DIVING!... watch out for boats
-
pm me if you want to go out tomorrow morning. i'm thinking of kayaking out of dania.
-
out today in ft. lauderdale with Scott. hit the water at 800am and it was glass flat and aquarium clear.
before we got to the backside of the second the wiind was picking up. After a thorough investigation I;m sad to report there are no shootable fish left in south florida. Did see a black that was either legal or an inch short, but didnt want to chance it, and a lot of very sizable margate. Shot nothing
Viz was a hazy 40+ in 35 feet and a bit clearer inside that but was shutting down quickly..
I hopped off the yak to cool off and saw a 5 foot tarpon in about 8 feetof water -
Has anyone else noticed that the wind picks up every weekend for the last few months now?!?! every time the water starts to clear up the wind picks up just in time for the weekend to stir it up and make it rough.

seiden--sorry for the late response brother. Glad you are ok sir:thumbsup2:
Maybe we need to rig up a higher flag for your yak sir -

There was a fire rescue crew at Ft Lauderdale beach today. Said there was a boat sinking. It was a couple of hundred yards from the beach and I could see something red but couldn't tell if it was a dive flag.
