for comparison...the above is a screen capture from the GoPro shot at 960p @ 30fps.
below is also a screen capture shot at the same resolution, in less light, but above water...(yes I am too old to be skating)

LB,
A skate park opened up 1 mile from my house. It's been oh.....20 years since I skated, but the halfpipe was calling my name. I went for a month straight. It was great at first but then I realized how much I sucked, how outta shape I really was, and how I don't get up as fast as I used to when falling![]()
you said it man!! i feel like I'm made out of wood or even plastic while i was once rubber and rope ![]()
it is a hell of a lot of fun... i figure one day when I have children, I'll impress the shit out of my kid when I bust a kickflip over his deck :@
hahaha nice one LB!!..your kid is going to be like wooahh!!:@
vista today wiith scott out at 8 back in around noon
viz was supriisingly good considering alll the east wind latley.
current was going strong north to south, certain places in vista over ledges the current kicks up extra hard and at some points it was almost to strong to go against at alll.
saw a lot of life today, schools of decent size jacks, lots of small mangroves and other snappers
some sizable groupers just a week to soon. vista always impresses me, not that it always holds fish just that its always very lively. Overall minus the chilly water a beautiful day, 100% sunshine
didnt find mmy monster hog today, well see

After making some calls and no one going out I decided I had to go out on this last day of Lobster season. I really didn't catch many this year but I was determined to find at least one to show them who's boss. I met some spearos at the lot who told me they never seen lobster there before but I was still determined.
I shot a porgy on my swim over to the reef where I found 2 nice lobsters under a rock, Swam around for about an hour with hundreds of triggerfish all around, even some weird ones.
Then I found a nice lobster hive hidding in a coral with about 20 lobsters. First I started to abduct them silently with my snare. Looking for the big ones I jammed the stick in there and rattled them up for them to disperse. They all moved over to a rock plate next door where it was easy hand pickings.
Very good way to end the season with 5 nice lobsters and one that was barely legal.
nice, im going after school today the weathers too perfect to pass it up.. the porgies are abundant at meade arent they
way to go on the lobsters davie
