Broward Beach Conditions

    Anybody fishing out of the Ft Lauderdale area tomorrow in the A.M need a buddy, beach, yak, boat (with my share paid of course)? I know its kind a last minute but let me know.

    South of Port Everglades today
    begin at 815am-----------end at noon
    wind zero---from E at 3mph
    current zero--S to N at 1/2mph
    viz 40f in 40fsw----30f in 3fsw
    seas flat---------still flat
    water temp 86F
    air temp. 86F no clouds overhead---91F no clouds overhead


    Today is a beautiful spearin day
    Solo today for a short day of spearin after work.
    Viz today was much better and I actually saw fish today
    Lots of boats and lots of spearos. Everyone from spearos with guns in the swim zone, to 30f spearin boats anchored INSIDE the first reef to another solo yak/spearo out on the 3rd reef 200yds from where I was
    I got 2macs and 2 hogs today

    Went out again. South of Port Everglades. Just got in. Water is FLAT with great viz and a WICKED current. Glad I got 2 hours of nice spearing in before the current cranked up.


    Tally is 5 lobster and 1 hog, which was pretty good considering it was an easy day and we went trolling after... but MAN was that current strong!

    Gotcha yea I kinda remember seeing a camo john boat. Glad to know more people on the water! If you see that contender or a Yellow 32 Century with Double B on the side those are the two main boats I go out on. Feel free to stop by and say hi!

    Me an a new dive buddy went shallow today for freediving lessons and fish ID lessons:D
    We were in the "fishingdude no take zone" today so we didn't kill any fish:nono:
    We had a great day yak freediving until the current kicked up and the viz dropped:)

    Viz was just a little short for where I wanted to hunt today:(
    Every time I shot a mac a much bigger mac would come in and swim around his speared little buddy:)

    I got 2 macs, 2 hogs, 1 jack an 1 dog today.
    Today was another beautiful yak freediving spearfishing day in Broward County :thumbsup2:

    Me an my buddy on the first reef today.
    Current got to rippen just before we quit.
    Waves, sky, temp and wind was perfect today
    We saw 3 ok hogs that had no fear but chose to shoot none

    In the water 8 hours solo today an got 2 hogs and 1 mac
    Viz shut down around 11am again today

    Sorry Hau, I've been in class getting my Master's 100 ton license and haven't been able to get out. Hopefully I'll get out there next week. Leave some fish for me. :)
