The sea was almost flat all day, the sky was cloudless and the wind was low.
There were very few boats on the water for some reason and very few race boats.
I got 4 hogs and 2 macs and saw a school of kings pass me out at the edge of my viz. -

I saw turtles, nurse sharks, manOwars, moray eels, ospreys, big jacks (for my zone), rays, etc, etc. -

Was at the south end of the si zone and again saw few fish.
Very few boats out.
Got 1 hog and 1 mac only.
I would have had 2 more macs but the sharks got em before I get could get the macs pulled inForgot to post that I FOUND A BRAND NEW POLE SPEAR on 1-31-11 at Meade St.
Looked like it had been in the water for several months but it still had the new tag on it

WARNING:
Many, many manowars at Meade and Dania Pier!!
I gave up and am headed back in to shore!!
Shore diving / yak freediving at these two locations this morning is very hazardous IMO!!
I went to the 1st then 2nd and 3rd reef and all had manowars

I agree with Hau. I went trolling offshore due to the man-o-wars all along the beach. I went as far north as deerfield beach and south to port everglades and offshore to 1000+' and they are everywhere. anyone going out use extreme caution!

many many man-o-wars today all the way to the third reef.there wasn't 5 feet between them in some spots i dove my entire anchor line today in great viz, and water doesn't feel tooo cold. hope some others made it out, i heard hau did
