A couple fish in my home country

I had to come to Venezuela for personal reasons and had the chance to drop in the water for some spearing.

Visibility was awful in the top of the water column, but after I dove a like 50 feet it opened like magic and was very good.

At the end, I managed to get two small cudas, a bonito, a cero, a mango and a beautiful mutton.

The kids in the picture are my nephew Diego and my son Alessandro.

Nice fish.
Hard hunting in those conditions unless you have a vector which puts you right on your spot...??
But you can surprise the hell out of the snappers on the bottom by popping out of the dark cloud above them.

Actually it was in a wreck. So all the fish hangs around the same area.

Bonito makes great sashimi and is also good in "tuna" salad. I always bleed them as fast as possible.
