That blue patern would be pretty cool for diving. And if this helps you relax a little more or boost your confidence in the water then why not. I have learned from angeling that it really isnt your tackle that lands fish it is your frame of mind. Granted your not going tuna fishing with your 4lb zebco reel, fishing is a confidence and head game.

I would rather stay on land than wear that Zebra suit.:laughing3: My boat would smell like piss from guys laughing too hard.

Those suits don't look cool no matter how many times they say it. They look ridiculous.

BTW this striped "shark deterrent" wetsuit pattern is nothing new. Like the pet rock fad they try to bring it back every 15 years or so, once they figure there's a new generation that hasn't seen it yet. Timing is good though, more people in the water than ever, and shark attacks are in the news.

Shark attacks zebra striped kayak.....
QuoteWhen asked his thoughts while staring at the chewing shark, Coca said, "I have these stripes on the bottom of my boat, a pattern of camouflage, like a home-grown shark shield. I just thought I might need a new pattern."

You think it had anything to do with the kayak being yum yum yellow? Glad Coca was ok. That must have been a very scary experience.

Poor Snuffy didn't stand a chance. Reminded me of the Jurassic Park raptor feeding scene.

Went out for a dive today and saw a 6-7 foot soupfin swim under me and to my right. I had fish on my stringer but it wasn't interested in my fish. I had a shot on it but decided against it. Wasn't totally sure of the kind it was and or the legal size. All though it is the largest shark I have seen in California while diving. Really cool to see. Trace heard me holler on the surface after it passed by. Then I almost had a collision with a big old bat ray that did not want to move out of my way so I obliged. Water was clear and warm but only managed a perch and a opaleye. I had to practice with my ulusub.

Until yesterday I had not seen a shark in over a month. I had just paddled back out after catching a wave and was sitting on my board. It was not not a Shamu style breech. It happened super fast and if it were not right next to me I would have dismissed it as a dolphin. I saw the head , mouth and teeth for just a split second. Only one other surfer was able to recognize it as a shark. Headed back out right now.
