For those of you that don't venture elsewhere here is a link to my latest vid. It's been a long time goal for me to get a white seabass on film and spear it. I finally got a gopro and made it happen before the bad conditions hit.

Excellent shot, beautiful fish and good video.
You could itemize the speargun you used, and band shaft settings.Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

Awesome footage mate, loved how you were patient and got closer to the fish to secure a better shot. Some would have gotten excited and taken a hail mary. That's experience right there

Simple awesome vid! Really enjoyed watching that.

How do you have your GoPro mounted?

Thanks guys and Jose as far as the gun setup. It's a 57inch custom open track Phil Herranen gun with 4 15 mm bands and a 60inch 5/16 shaft and Mori Slip tip. Rob Allen reel and GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition setup 1080p @60 frames per second. I mounted the camera below the gun maybe 8 inches back from the line anchor. I had really hoped that the bands wouldn't catch and was fortunate enough to have it all work out well. The camera moved a bit with the shot unfortunately so I will have to fix that. (I had it tightened down pretty good.)

Thanks man. I have taken those shots in past years and don't waste time with them any longer. Too many lost fish. It certainly took a lot of stalks to be able to learn this for me. I would've gotten close actually but I hadn't equalized in maybe 12 ft and my head felt like it was about to explode! :@
