As water get to 23-22 degrees low visibility and not a quiet sea - you get a chance to meet them
The right wetsuit and socks had their influence too :thumbsup2:
Later this week ill add the clip.

Congrats! Hell of a king...
Nice!
Awesome fish !! love those colors...Nice mate! I'd like to see that be the image for the Med section.:thumbsup2:
Cheers, Don
Me too. But for the Med section thumbnail it will have to be with the next fish.. pointing up
How about it Moshe, do you have something with the fish in the frame with you, like this?
BTW we should have a thread about how to take great fish pics. There are some excellent pointers that can be given. It's all about positioning and shot angle, to make a nice fish truly impressive.
I will do my best to get another like the above(get lucky again):) and get head to head pic
Although it is a REALLY nice fish, a mackerel is not a representative fish for the Med. Aren't there any dentex or groupers in your area?

You right it is an immigrant (a most welcome one) but they already in big numbers in our water
Groupers are in extinction danger and not only on Israel coast but all over the med, some kinds you cant see here any more unless you dive below 40m...
because of that I don't shoot them on regular basis, I guess in a year not more than 10 of them.
Dentex is a wonderful fish but I hardly meet them
Very nice pics. Moshe you're now representing our Med section
Nice vid, nice tune. Thank you for sharing it. Why did you call it Welcome spring?

These Mackerels should have been here according to the water temp and other charetaristics- Probably nature has is own clock...As for me, spring started with that fish:thumbsup2:
