how is the wound coming along? is it scabbed yet, i think saltwater is good for it.
Ya'll will be happy to know my hand has healed. Some more scabbing needs to form and fall off but it's a sure thing now. One wound could've been stitched but I didn't bother. I was confident after the second day it wasn't getting infected. I'm ready to hit the water.
I feel horrible for you but LMAO, I just teared up laughing when I saw the video...it's horrible, but thats only because I know you're just about healed up.
i would be a little proud if I were you..I mean you are doing protection training and your student is clearly doing great !!
now maybe a little bit of target identification training is in order
How is your hand going?
Getting better?
I'm fine now thanks.
Lunkerbuster, those are some good observations. I am proud of the progress of the dog, he's come a long way in a short time. Also the breed from my experience doesn't often show this kind of potential. Targeting is the next step. This is where the dog learns to bite protective gear that the man is wearing.
very cool Dan, how did you learn to do this sort of training? I have always loved to work with my dog, but I only know how to do obedience and trick training. I'd love to get him to know how to do more service oriented work. any tips?
Long story. Mainly working with dogs LOL
If you have any specific question pertaining to dog training feel free to ask.
I hate getting bit... glad you've since healed.
