I am a little disappointed by the 40 lb capacity but this still looks like a great shore diving float
Kayak Kaddy® The "Angler" addition

finally. a commercially made Plat.

Dude that thing looks more slick than a banks board and way more hydrodynamic. Wish they had this out before I bought my banks board
About the same price too.

Wonder how they got the 40lb limit. It looks like it'd float more than that

I'm concerned how it will track through chop, the float line connection is too high. Also the balance of it once things inside shift over to one side. But it certainly looks like the next best thing (commercially available) to a Banks Board.

I don't see how this is even comparable to a banks board . The only thing id want to do with this is trail it behind a yak and only in flat water

Interesting design and I am sure that some spearos here will find that this is exactly what they are looking for. Thanks for sharing LunkerBuster. :toast2:
That said, if I were wanting something to tow behind my yak OR a float to shore dive with, I would just use my Beauchat Guardian.
hope this helps -
That thing looks super cool. I'd like one to use while surfing. You could anchor it out, fish, and have a beer or three while waiting for a set wave. Kinda pricey though. I could come up with a redneck rig that would work just as well. Very slick rig though

$200 for an inflatable..idk about that when it has bloody fish. The first curious shark or anything would be bye bye $200...

Yep, that is why I put all my fish in a big dry bag with blue ice on the Guardian

How much resistance does the banks board cause when paddling? I must admit, I do like the Kayak Kaddy a little better because it's smaller.
