Went out on sunday for few hours, nice day, calm water, no wind, perfect, I catch Mutton, Yellow jack (10 pounds each) and a Parrot fish (9 pounds), but the best part of the day for me was that later I went with my daughter to spearfish and she kill her first fish (barracuda), and hit a second one but it tore, also she wanted to go diving deeper, so I took her and she was dving 10' easy, she is only 9 years, here she is proud with her speargun and catch, she also gut and scale the fish and is ready to be fried tomorrow.

Gracias Marco, ese dia vimos la sama mas grande que he visto en toda mi vida, yo crei que era un cubera de tan grande que era, facil rompia el record que hay pero por mucho, pero leia y escribia, no dio ni un solo chance.
translation: that day we saw the biggest mutton of my whole life, we taught it was a cubera, easly could broke the record for long, but it knew to read and write, no close chance.
Lunker Iam very proud of both my girls, this summer is going to be a great one.

woww!! must be very big that mutton!!...so they r found on caves like pargos?(snapers) I have seen them but not vey much in shallow waters..(south side)
-
Attan, look for the muttons in sandy areas close to the reef. Chumming the area will bring them on. But wait 2 month now. They are banned in PR until May 31st.
-
oohh marko nice to hear that..recursos naturales estan activaos jaja...where I can find when fish are banned here in PR?
-
Attan like Marco said, sand or grass area close to the reef, sometimes in open areas over the reef speacially when you have other fish on the shaft:D, engoales tripas, chumm them the guts of fish or bring sardinas with you, they love them, here is the fishing regulation
http://www.caribbeanfmc.com/RE…-pr/Rgl6768--feb-2004.pdfhttp://www.caribbeanfmc.com/RE…o_fishing_regulations.htm
there is a smaller version with only the fish with size and seasons.
