As some of you already know i was in the Bahamas a while back.... and oohhhhhhhhh it was niiiiice.
places varied alot to baron areas to huge brain coral heads full of fish ... a real dream come true to find them.. any way here are some pics... unfortunately i don't have any cool UW shots.

the rest where caught in the north of long island, hopefully soon i will be back out there...and i should be making it down to The Jumentos Islands

I see you are suing pole spear. I was just in Grand Bahama and seems most use hawaiian slings. Just curious as to whether you think pole spear more effective than H. sling?

hey Nick, this thread is quite old and you might not get as much information or thoughts as if you made a new thread about spearing in the Bahamas.
just some advice.
I for one love a pole spear beacuse I hate to see a fish swim away with a shaft...I have always liked Dan's sling + shooting line but i have yet to try that myself
