Pantoja, Alan and myself diving Miami today. Towards the end of the day we found the good vis, beautiful top to bottom blue. Water was rashguard warm.
Pantoja got two YJ, the bigger of the two weighing 19lb notice the bent shaft, also two cobias. Our YJ tend to hole up when shot, I've found them resting under rocky overhangs too.
I asked Pantoja to put on the 3mm wetsuit for the pics because I needed some good ones of the black suit. It's definitely too warm for these 3mm.

Mike, they are quite tasty, you just have to be sure to bleed and fillet it well. especially great pan seared with a tasty rub and oil

very nice fish.that is a big yellow jack. i also seen them now and then resting under ledges. in what kind of environment/circumstances you got the cobias ? was it a beach or boat dive ?
boat dive. they were by some structure and shot the spookier one first then the other one. it seems they are mating .

They will bend a stainsteel shaft but not a SA shaft.
