How to release a shark

    Just like you guys I knew
    what was going to happen.


    The hook is stainless, and they were using
    cable for leader, it is a big hook so they were
    looking for bigger sharks, a glove would not make
    much of a diference, pliers would, am glad this was not a tiger shark.:nono:


    I dont knowthis guys, i just had to go back to the video, and pump
    up the volume, the scream does not sound too macho to me.
    I think he thought he had lost a few fingers,as soon as he
    could see hos fingers again, the incredible funny scream stopped. <img src= " class="smiley" srcset="https://spearfishing.world/forum/images/smilies/emojione/1f606@2x.png 2x" height="23" width="23" loading="eager" data-tooltip="biggrin" aria-label="biggrin">


    I could just not keep this to myself, am sure someone else needed midday smile.;)

    i used to do a lot of shark fishing off mantanzas inlet near st augustine...once i was out there and I caught a small (14") bonnethead...I was going to just grab it's body and unhook it when this old dude who was fishing about 100yds away ( i had paddled his baits out for him earlier) comes running over and literally slashed the mono below my hand and the shark fell and swam away...I turned to him with half shock (from the speed of his knife) and half confusion( cos why would he do that) and before I could get a word out of my mouth he held up his left hand and did a "no" finger wag...it was then I realized he was wagging his middle finger and his pointer was no where to be seen :@


    he said it was a shark about twice that size, but still a baby...now he keeps 'em or cuts the line...no third option....saved me a whole world of hurt
