That was a nice display of Cain against a freakingly strong and huge guy. He must hone his boxing skills a bit tho. To beat someone as Emillianenko for instance, he must to work both in his low kicks and standing skills.
A great fighter without doubt.

Very impressive performance. I was immediately struck by Cain's poise and attributed a lot of it to good endurance. Congratz on a Mexican UFC heavyweight champ.
BTW I don't understand how youtube allowed this vid. They usually delete UFC vids due to copyright. Maybe it's the fact that they filmed a TV.

Great fight 1 won a $100 on that fight

I agree... Koscheck is such a tool. :rolleyes1:
When I was looking at gyms, I checked out American Kickboxing Academy in San Jose (about 2miles from my old place). Humble gym, but some great fighters have come out of there (most notably Velasquez, Fitch, & Koscheck). I admire Cain & Fitch not only for their skills & work ethics... but for their humility and the character they show. While from the same camp, Koscheck seems to have come from another planet! Last December, I moved about 30miles north. Kinda bums me out - I would have liked to train there.

I didn´t like Koscheck either since he was at UFC show. St Pierre is a great fighter.
Fuzz, I am glad that you resumed MMA training, no spearo is complete without some split lips and bloody knuckles every once in a while
I am travelling these 3 next weekends to get some Muay thai private classes and I am stocked!1

Wish I could say I was... but I am far from a real MMA guy. Only fights I've ever been in were during hockey. I just grew up doing judo since I was tiny (whole family was into it) & wrestling... so the grappling comes easy for me. Getting hit... I avoid that like the plague.
You know how some fighters say they enjoy being in a war & getting hit motivates them more? Not me. :laughing3:

I grew up with judo too.

Jajaja really I miss bloody nuckles and some toe fractures, I have been out of training for over a year, miss it a lot, I have a friend that start a Judo school and invite me to train some time, will see.
