Great to see pics of you guys doing your thing. New yak is looking good Steven.
Next thing you know hau will be photoshopping
-
steven, if you have a trickle charger I'll give you the battery and FF/gps for that mount between your legs :D..glad to see you are enjoying the yak

This is one of the many methods that sdeisen uses to spot fish. -
Are you guys on top of your so called ''first reef''?? The reasom I'm asking is just to have an idea how far from shore you guys go.
-
billy- yeah thats the first reef. We were not hunting there that day just stopped there on the way back in.
-
hau, the next thing you need to learn is to resample the pics to a smaller resolution. If you click on the pics you posted you will see how big they really are. In this case you want to bring them down to 718 pixel width. The pics will look better, be much smaller in terms of data size and consequently faster to view. It's easy to resample, only takes a minute, see the pic posting tutorial.
This resampled pic is 100kb, 1/10 the size of yours at a whopping 1mb. For someone using a dial up modem to access the internet it will take forever for this page to load.

:cool2:holy cow its me!.. by the way i was not grabbing that flag pole thats 100% skill
OK, next we're out I'll have to try that.:rolleyes1::rolleyes1: -
Sdiesen, what kind of rig do you use for your dive flag?
-
TOM_ thats Judahs yak and set up, its a pvs pipe thats like 1 inch diameter and holds a pvc flag pole thats like 3/4 inch (those are total guesses put the principles the same i think)
on my other yak i did something similar, if you have a scupper hole you can just see how big the diameter is, find soemthing that fits in snug(i used a tube that once held olives or some random crap) and glue/epoxy it to the end of your flagpole. then it fits snugg in the scupper hole and it can be taken out when paddling and storing the yak and you dont have to make any modifications to your kayak. ,, also after losing about 8 flags to weather and stupidity i tie a rope around my flagpole and attach it via caribiner to the yak. -
sorry Dan, I'll work on correct sizing next
-
Ahora si que esta lindo el thread....:D
