Nice hog alan...great fish

Hau get's extra kudos today for literally doing all the work...as he was leaving (at this point I only have a 18" mack and a nice squid in the bucket) and hau says " you ned to go about 100yds that way...look in the sand"...and ten minutes later i had added two nice hogs and ben had added a nice mutton to the bucket:)

finished off the day with a nice 20" or so YJ that was the biggest of a school of three...I think i might have misplayed that hunt actually...I saw them and noticed they were doing a circuit around a coral head and through a small hole in the reef and then out to the sand and repeat... I wanted to take the rear one at the right time and then get the others as they repeated the lap....problem was, i think i altered their lap with my presence somehow and they changed course so i took the biggest and they scrammed...what I did was wait til they were in the reef and dropped to the bottom and tried to aspetto until they emerged...I thought i was ninja, but as I said, they altered course ?
still had a lot of delicious fish to bring to the memorial day bbq i went to in the afternoon <img src= " height="23" srcset="https://spearfishing.world/forum/images/smilies/emojione/1f606@2x.png 2x">

Wanting to get more than one was ambitious. I don't know how you'd expect the other two not to notice, and if they did they would normally be gone after doing a couple of laps around their speared buddy, maybe not even.

you may be right, like I said, I MIGHT have misplayed it, perhaps it was the best outcome...i just felt that they gave me the opportunity to take more than one and it didn't happen. still enjoyed the one I took.

has anyone had success at taking multiple fish from the same school or pod (not mahi, since that is a given)?

judah- no ive never seen anyone do it but ive heard lots of claims

Today, somehwere in laudi daudi dale
kind of heavy east wind made some swells and strong current, but viz was very nice(but going downhill)
saw a lot of life (eels lobsters HuGE seaturtles nurses and the like) also a ton of 10-16 inch hogs, but didnt see any real choice ones. got one mangrove
today was an awesome day in the water i saw a whole feild of pearly jawfish =)

hahaha, Oh my God!! i forgot that day...Hau vs the 8 ft nurse shark:@ looked like an MMA fight from the surface...Hau rear naked choking the shark just to keep a 2 dollar chum bag

I found a chum bag today I could give you so you dont have to fight the sharks for them in the future haha, went out today and only say a trigger, vis was good at the 2nd and 3rd reef but poor at the first.

Looked a little rough to go out to the 3rd on a yak today. Congrats on roughing it out.
Meade an Dania seems to be getting fished out. Moving Target went out to a number I gave him today an only saw 3 hogs all day
(an Moving Target is a very good Indian)

it was rough swimming to the 3rd reef today, I saw a yak out there it was a small one with 2 younger guys on it (16ish) didnt look like they had much luck either

yeah it was a pretty tough leg workout, thats the farthest ive swam off of any beach around here.

Kyle and I will probably go out as well for a beach dive on Thursday or If my friends in town for the expo get a boat to rent we may also have room for more to boat dive, will keep in touch anyway.

Wow 3rd reef is far swim, and on memorial day, must've been hectic out there.
