Nice. Was the 3mm suit warm enough?

The 3 mil was perfect, felt very warm and comfy all day. me and frank have been on much colder beach dives recently with the same results. A few months ago we went when it was 47 out in the am lol. Water was I think 69 and it still felt good in the water. Out of it not so much.

Had a very successful and also eventful day today. Shot some nice fish. Got 3 nice lobsters. Everyone on the boat got some fish. My dad and brother tried out their new speardiver 3mil suits and had a blast. Swam over under around and through a bunch of incredible beautiful reef all day. Also saw lots of out of season friends.
Also this happened :laughing3:

A shark goes after your float and you get 20 seconds of video???
-
Lol frank the gopro wasn't aimed at him at first and shortly after turning it and facing him it died. It's like the Murphy's law of gopro. Need a battery backpack.

I'm surprised nobody noticed what's actually happening in the vid, you can see the shark is moving in an unusual way. I know because Mark told me about it before posting the vid. Lets see if someone can figure it out.

If you watch the video in 720 on a full screen you can see the shark has a line wrapped around its pec fin. Not sure if that is what you are referring to though.
The only way to help avoid missing some of the crazy sh!!!t that goes on is to have the camera running all the time. Its a little bulkier and can make it hard to find the interesting stuff after a long day. I still find that murphy's law manages to prevent some of the coolest things that happen from being caught on film.

He had a line and hook dangling from him. But he wasn't stuck to the float by the hook and line. He was stuck another way you can probably see if you look again.

Did you clip both ends of the stringer and he swam through the loop?

Its a steel loop type stringer and yeah he went right through it lol. He was looped right up to his pec fins, when i pulled on the stringer it came right off his head and he swam away.
