Weather has been becoming more unstable and makes things much more difficult to organize.. A recent short trip made in the north Atlantic Ocean at about 100miles off the coast. Saw by chance a school mad of several hundred massive blue fin tuna hunting fiercely in a herring school... cold/ green/ dirty water and bad visi. 2 whales taking were taking part to the action and probably giant mako sharks.. action lasted less than half an hour. 2 fish taken there by trolling. the pic of the deck shows much better the fish size (700/ 900 lbs)..UW pic are misleading and makes believe the fish are medium size.. fish restless and rushing at over 40 miles/ hour.
Freediving among the greatest fish...

Those are some great pictures. Is that a mink whale? Seven hundred pound blue fin swimming at 40 mph. Now that is some fast food. You guys will be eating very well for a while. How long did it take to reel in those fish?

Hi guys,
thank,s a lot for your friendly fee-back!:)
would like to organize a kind of "herring run" (as well as the S african "sardin run"): a two days free-diving trip in the north atlantic but..
unfortunately the weather has been becoming too unstable there at the time giant bf tuna visiting the area before they do leaving to the west atlantic coasts (ireland, spain, morocco)
it needs to improvise as soon as the weather is correct, so impossible to plan something weeks ago
and obviously impossible to dive in 9 feet swell!! -
Be careful friend
