This new speardiver suit is terrible. Ever since I got it big fish wont leave me alone. I just want to dive in peace!
Ive also gotten more compliments from people about this suit than any others. :cool2: My only problem now is its becoming too warm to wear and I will soon lose this amazing suit juju! I need a steamer ASAP.

No. There's no point to an open cell 1.5mm suit. A 1.5mm suit provides minimal thermal protection, it's more for environmental protection ie. sun, fire coral, jelly fish. It also offers a loading pad, and of course camo 
The Speardiver 1.5mm suits have an innovative feature. To maintain similar flexibility and comfort as the open cell suits, a special "Hyperstrech" material is used for the inside lining.

I do have a 1.5 open cell and it is very flexible.

Of course! Now that hau moved away I'm looking for someone to represent Speardiver for the :old: But then you have to stop saying spetton.. except if you mean little barracuda

I thought I'd add my input on the spear diver wetsuit since we're coming into the winter months up here in Canada. For my first wetsuit ever I think it is pretty awesome.
*First of all I have the 5mm and it feels like a second set of skin. Aside from being a little tight on the junk it is super comfortable.
As for temperature it is fantastic I've spent over 3 hours in 40F degree water and felt comfortable enough to go for longer. My friend who scuba dives said I would need a dry suit for such a thing, but I pretty much almost stay dry in this suit anyways.
Overall I am very happy and Dan's customer support was very good. I will have to wait see how the suit holds up over time. The only thing I could ask for is please make some spear diver gloves! My hands are the only thing aside from my checks that get cold
