Best spearfishing Video I have ever seen

  • Done by a fellow West Indian...no not from India!! Its what the Caribbean is called and what the island people(like me) refer to ourselves as. Although it is used more often by us to identify the culture of the ex British islands(couldn't help giving the cultural lesson)

  • I saw this when you posted on fb Gerge. Amazing video! Do you know where in East Africa it was filmed? Tanzania Zanzibar or Mozambique most likely. I was in Tanzania and Zanzibar and died looking at the water with no diving gear on hand (work trip).

  • Oscar Richard worked for some shiek, he was scouting sites I believe. Would be many countries and locations I would guess.

Trinidad boy made it big on the world spearfishing scene before a accident laid him low, he is in recovery.

  • Awesome video. There are some really cool and very friendly fish but I think I have to disagree with you on the best video ever. My favorite is this one from Perrin James.

  • Got to respectfully disagree, those guys are some of the best spearfishermen in the world, and Perin is an awesome camera man... but I don't want a documentary on their paid spearfishing trips... Always those videos smack of an infomercial to me. No I want my videos pure, no $$, and the majority underwater.

  • You're all horribly misguided. Brod whittackers videos are the best. And that one from New Zealand of the giant tuna behind the fishing boat. Those actually make you feel something .

My vote is for the video George posted over this Hanibal film for various reasons. This was too narrow whereas the East African video had it all, great coral, a huge variety of fish, nice Doggies, some interesting exotic fish, it really was an awesome video. At least for my taste - your mileage may vary.

  • SICK SICK footage! Fish seemed friendly and not super skidish. Loved the shaft penetrating footage. What depths was your West Indian going for those doggies?

It was painful to see that big ulua (GT) and no shot taken!
